What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA, and we have a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments.

  • Text can be resized and the layout works down to a narrow phone screen.
  • Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard.
  • Images have text alternatives and status is written out, not shown by colour alone.
  • Forms explain errors in plain words next to the field.

Known problems

  • Some photos supplied by stalls have short or missing descriptions.
  • A few complex screens in the stall owner dashboard have not been fully tested with screen readers.

We are working through these.

Telling us about a problem

If something stops you using Farmers Basket, write to rafael@ripponstudio.co.uk. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply within five working days and offer another way to get what you need in the meantime.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at equalityadvisoryservice.com or on 0808 800 0082.
